If the phrase real ale style bar sounds like an oxymoron, give this one a look as it's probably the best way to describe this Adnams house on the south end of Tower Bridge. Excellently kept Adnams and guest ales in an interior in keeping with the converted warehouse flats of the area. So, you can enjoy a decent pint and ponder laying down a deposit on one of the displayed works of art ...hmm. Somehow it works: it helps that the food's very good and the Irish landlord is a friendly soul. Even if the racked magazines seem a bit Toni & Guy, the fayre on offer is impressive making their 4 pinter status inevitable. A good spot whilst walking along the Thames, visiting the Tower or an inspection of the GLA space oddity.
