Once a very quiet local a few years back, time and tide have meant the Prince of Wales now has a steady flow of custom. So while the upmarket Charles Lamb around the corner now often at maximum, standing room only, capacity, over here you can find a handful of old-school locals, along with a smattering of more trendy people for whom the Upper Street strip doesn't cut it anymore. For a relatively small pub, the two room set up doesn't seem cramped at all and the decor is traditional enough to give the place some character. Quieter at the start of the week than at the end, it's still usually fairly easy to get a seat and you could do a lot worse than to pop in here for a couple.
