Holborn: Turn right out of the station and head down High Holborn. The pub is about five minutes away on the right. Chancery Lane: Take the South exit and head up High Holborn toward Holborn Station. It's about five minutes walk on the left.

This pub was one of the first of the Wetherspoon pubs that went against the original ethos of the JDW chain and installed a Big Screen for Sky TV. Perhaps it is part of some sort of Government sponsored research into what happens when you mix together cheap, cheap drink and football fans in a confined space. If the notion appeals, give it a look. Otherwise, it's a standard after-office Wetherspoon pubs - perhaps one best utilised as somewhere to meet before heading on elsewhere.
