Formerly Centuria, essentially a restaurant where you could have a drink, with a bit of a makeover and a rename, this new incarnation has partially turned the focus back towards being a drinking establishment. Now a bar and restaurant, the front section is predominately for drinking, while the back section (empty on our weekday visit) is guarded by reserved signs and laid-out cutlery. Despite the name, the interior doesn't look particularly French, fitted out in predictable gastropub fashion of bare floorboards, couches and mismatched furniture. Indeed, you would be forgiven for thinking that it looks exactly the same as any number of other similarly bland looking places. We were also disappointed to note an unimaginative section of generic lagers. However, positive reports regarding the food might be more of a lure, but considering this is a pub guide, unless you live locally, there's probably not much reason to come here.
