how to find it:

South Quay: Turn right out of the station, cross the road and take the first left into Mastmaker Road, then immediately right into Byng Street. It's at the end. Heron Quays: Leave the station and walk down Heron Quays until you get to Westferry Road and turn left. It's two minutes walk on the left.

picture of The Rogue TraderThe Blacksmith's got the renovation it so dearly needed. The place has been brightened up (rather too bright, actually) and is now effectively a bar with a curry takeaway attached (or is it the other way round?). You can eat here too, but most of the trade seems to be takeaways from the nearby flats (and offices during the week). It's friendly enough and it's quite a pleasant place to be to have a pint or two while you're waiting for your order, but you wouldn't plan a night out in here.
