picture of Lyceum TavernThe Lyceum is a decent enough pub (given its touristy location), with the usual cheap Sam Smith's drink selections on offer - so expect students from nearby King's College to amongst your fellow drinkers. It's also one where you can often find a seat (both upstairs and downstairs), even at peak times. Token homage is paid to the origins of the pub's name with the display of some theatre-related imagery around the walls, but even so the point isn't laboured. All in all, it's a good pub for the area and easy to find, but it's not one you'd make a special journey to get to - unless you were particularly after a pub that doesn't have any TVs.
