A big pub with a grand Victorian pub interior, some preserved some faked - some lovely old ceramic friezes adorn the walls. McMullen beers on the hand pumps and a less restricted (than there used to be) range of other beers and lagers on the pumps. Nothing special, but the wine list gives a clue to kind of clientele to expect - the first two entries are Liebfraumilch and Neufchatel - hmmmm. It's bleeding expensive too, but you'd expect that round here. Often pretty rowdy if you're into that kind of thing.
