how to find it:

Shepherd's Bush (Central line): Leave the tube turn right, walk to the end of the green away from the bridge and you should see it on the far left corner. Shepherd's Bush (Hammersmith and City Line): Turn left from the tube, walk to the end of the road and turn right, cross the road and walk down to the Empire. The pub is just past it.

Another stalwart on the corner of Shepherd's Bush Common and a cut above your usual O'Neill's, this one's for music lovers and sports fans. For music lovers - we're not talking about DJs, live music or a great jukebox - but the fact it it is right next door to the Shepherd's Bush Empire and is the obvious place for the pre-gig meet, and to ingest something other than Carling. For sports fans there are screens dotted all over the pub and big screen too so you're always close to the action. For the thirsty there's Guinness, of course, plus the excellent Budvar on tap.
