picture of Queens HeadAn ordinary Victorian boozer which makes a bit of a pun of its name. The Markham on King's Road used to be one of the main Gay pubs in the area, but since it stopped being a pub, the clientele has had to look elsewhere and the back room at the Queen's head seems to be where they have gravitated to. not that this bothers us in the slightest as it's a friendly enough place and the service is prompt and efficient. The range of fayre on offer is nothing remarkable and the prices are what you would expect for the area. A handy place to get away from the hurly-burly of King's Road.
