picture of The GunnersThere are a few diehard football pubs in Islington that you really shouldn't bother with unless you follow the Arsenal. If you are a fan, though, the Gunners is a treasure trove of signed Gooner memorabilia. That, the giant screen showing every match (even some that they shouldn't) and the occasional barbecue in the tiny patio garden can't really make up for the old fan pub necessities of lager in plastic glasses, stroppy bouncers and boisterous singing (bordering on the offensive). Strictly one for the red and white army.
