picture of CamelIt's difficult to rate a pub which aims for a specific demographic, especially if you're not from that group. As such, Friday night here will polarise opinion, with the Camel either being a fun and lively place to be, or Hell on Earth. Along with a smattering of local office workers there's a lot of blokes in sportswear and blinged-up girls shaking their booty to the DJ's selection of R&B. We presume they're from the local Pimlico estates, as we can't imagine them making a trip to come here otherwise. It's pretty loud, quite expensive and the toilets were struggling to take the strain, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. It's less frenetic during the early part of the week, when it becomes much more average as a result. At other times, either take the above review as a warning, or a reason to come here.
