The Cock Tavern is an exuberant Victorian pub with giant glass lanterns outside and a wonderfully ornate interior. A long, narrow pub, it has a fair amount of seating and serves the usual range of Samuel Smith beers. Like all the other pubs in this area, it is often packed with shopper, workers and people out on the town (especially towards the end of the week). But it's certainly worthy of your patronage, especially if you like Sam Smith beers and dislike West End prices.
