The highly competitive environment along Stoke Newington Church Street has had its casualties over the years and the establishments in this particular location have changed a good few times, happily now the place has settled down and it appears to have found its niche. It offers a bit of something for everybody, the range of beer is reasonable, the wine's not bad and you can even indulge in a cocktail, should the fancy take you. They don't do food, but end up covering all the bases by getting in takeaways (and there are plenty of styles to choose from round here) or letting you B.Y.O. - and they even supply cutlery should you need it. There's a big screen for sport and small beer garden out the back. Add a late licence, music and a relaxed atmosphere and it's easy to see why it's finally found its niche.
