picture of The Rose and CrownThe Rose and Crown sits on the corner of Church Street and Albion Road, its curved facade attractively done out in opaque glass, in the shadow of St Mary's Church. The interior is spacious and has a coal fireplace for winter days. The Sunday lunches are very good, and the place has been quite amenable on most of our visits. Although weekends are to be avoided if you're looking for a child and three-wheeled buggy free drinking experience.
