From Dalston Kingsland train station, exit left and take the first left onto Bradbury Street. At the end the the street cross over onto St Jude street and the pub is on the left, a short way up.

Well, Old Henry's Free House has been given a bit of a makeover since we last ventured in. Out has gone the quirky decor and friendly atmosphere, while in has come a cheap and poorly thought-out refurbishment. A few interesting music-related posters dot the walls, but this is now ultimately a vaguely uncomfortable place, where the bar lady serves regulars first. It might be friendly if you're on first name terms with the staff, but otherwise go elsewhere.
