sorry no picture of this pubFrom the outside, this pub looks the typical run-down old boozer; inside it screams 1970s working men's club. The range of beers is small and they seem to have only one bottle of whisky. My companion requested a dry white wine and we had an amusing wait while the corkscrew and some bottles were found. However, a choice of wines was offered and the Chablis turned out to be excellent.Everybody talks to you in this pub, the service is excellent and the drink is cheap. It's frequented by the older locals from the area, all of whom give a warm welcome to newcomers. The atmosphere reminded me of 'Cheers' - everybody knows your name etc etc. Unusual for a London pub, especially in an upcoming area, and definitely to be encouraged.
