The Victoria is a quiet pub that does its bit for the locals in these parts. The landlord, Charlie Magri , will be well known to you if you're a boxing aficionado. So, as you might expect, the pub sports a boxing theme, but it's not over-over-top - Mr Magri has decorated the walls with a lot of personal souvenirs and an interesting story they have to tell, but if you're not into pugilistic pursuits, there are plenty of other things to entertain you here. It's a Charles Wells pub so of course it serves the usual Charles Wells stuff - Bombardier, Red Stripe etc - and does it competently enough, there's a Thai restaurant upstairs, a beer garden out the back, plenty of big screens for sport, gaming machines and WiFi. It's a pretty friendly place, a solid, local boozer.
